Who We Are
Intown Family Therapy was formed by Jeanine Rousso, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS to help serve families and children in the neighborhood of Grant Park, Atlanta; Jeanine continues to support her own clients and Intown from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Intown has grown into a staple of the community, serving adults, children, and families due to the successful framework established by its founder. In March of 2020, team member and therapist Katelynn Villari, LCSW became Intown's Clinical Director. Our focus continues to be providing clinical expertise to individuals and families with mental health and wellness goals. We are comprised of a specialized team of clinicians that work with adults, children, adolescents, and families. Intown provides services such as school observations, parent training, online therapy, play therapy, individual and family therapy. We view our clients using strengths based and holistic perspectives using evidenced based interventions. All of our therapists work to tailor to the individual needs of each client and family. Katelynn Villari, LCSW, Clinical Director
Katelynn Villari is the Clinical Director at Intown Family Therapy. Katelynn holds her License in Clinical Social Work (# CSW000645) and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Katelynn received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Georgia State University where she also focused on referral services for children and families. She then went on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Social work at the University of Georgia in the Advanced Standing program.
Katelynn has worked in private practice, hospital, and school settings providing family, group, and individual therapy as well as supportive case management services. Katelynn has over 6 years experience in working with children, adolescents and families who may be experiencing concerns with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, social skills, anxiety, depression, behavioral and emotional regulation. Katelynn is trained in evidence based and trauma-focused therapies and enjoys working with children and adolescents through the lenses of play, music, art, sensory, and narrative therapies. She believes laughter is the ultimate healer and is passionate about empowering children and adolescents to recognize their individual strengths and gifts. Lauren Nichols, LPC, RPT, MDiv
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and parents. Lauren is also interested in maternal mental health and has completed the Postpartum Support International Certificate Training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Lauren was raised in Houston, TX, but pursued higher education in the Southeast. She earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University. In addition, she obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and a Master of Divinity from Emory University. She is deeply committed to respecting the unique needs and beliefs of her clients. Lauren will explore spiritual matters with clients who introduce the topic and find it important for their personal growth and well-being.
Lauren has experience providing support to families in a variety of contexts such as an inpatient and outpatient pediatric hospital, a child advocacy center, various nonprofit organizations, and the private practice setting. Lauren believes play therapy is the best therapeutic intervention for children and likewise incorporates creative interventions into counseling with adolescents. Depending on the needs and unique personality of her clients, Lauren also weaves in cognitive behavioral and mindfulness interventions into sessions. She strives to create a safe environment in which her clients are able to fully express themselves and acquire new skills to better cope with presenting issues such as grief, perinatal loss, trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, low self-confidence, unhelpful behaviors, life and identity transitions, and coping with long-term illness. Jeni Willenzik, LAPC
Jeni is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who is passionate about providing innovative and evidence-based counseling services for children, adolescents, and their families. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and she completed her undergraduate studies at Tulane University. Jeni began her career as a second-grade teacher and has six years of experience working with children and adolescents in school settings, community and outpatient mental health, and private practice.
Jeni utilizes positive psychology and a strengths-based approach to counseling. She strives to empower her clients with increased self-esteem, self-expression, emotional regulation, and coping tools. She has worked with children and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, bullying, adjusting to change, and other emotional and behavioral concerns. She provides ongoing training and consultation for teachers, focused on developing resiliency through trauma-informed classroom environments. Additionally, she has developed and led a group summer counseling program for elementary-aged children. Jeni is trained in various techniques and modalities including play therapy, attachment therapies, and trauma-focused therapies. Zandra Baker, MSCP
Zandra Baker, MSCP is a therapist passionate about family dynamics and the influence of those dynamics on us as individuals. With a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, Zandra has 10 years of experience working with individuals and families, including children, teenagers, and young adults. She believes that everyone has their own unique story to understand and commits to supporting the process of developing that story.
Zandra has worked in outpatient, hospital, intensive in-home, and school settings, and believes it is important to take a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling to achieve a better understanding of ourselves. Zandra enjoys working with children with behavioral challenges toward improving emotional regulation, families towards cohesion and improved communication, and individuals through depression, anxiety, adjustment, stress, and grief.
